Facebook has suffered from dwindling younger users and must compete with TikTok for market share. The social media platform, owned by Meta, claims three billion users each month, but has lost favour with younger customers. Meta is attempting to lure younger users back to the platform by using artificial intelligence (AI) to suggest content and adapting platforms with more private messaging features. User demographics are linked to how Facebook will develop. For example, if it continues to lose influencer teens, the product line around loyal users will need to evolve and adapt to new market groups. Facebook has declined to disclose user demographics.
Bryce Harper and Justin Verlander have returned to action following injury, but both their teams, the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets respectively, are struggling in the NL East. The Phillies beat Boston on Sunday, after a six-game losing streak, but find themselves 16-19 and eight games behind NL East-leading Atlanta. Meanwhile, the high-priced Mets have lost five of their last six, and are seven games adrift of the Braves, who'll be chasing a sixth consecutive NL East title.
