Singapore's United Overseas Bank has completed its acquisition of Citigroup's consumer banking arms in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, adding approximately two million new customers to its existing five million. The deal will also enable the bank to expand its product offerings through Citigroup's credit-card business and wealth-management operations.
