Not everyone loves Marineland. Park offers 'educational' shows but local school boards aren't going

Marineland, a theme park in Niagara Falls, Canada, that has been criticised for animal abuse, is still advertising educational trips despite schools in the area claiming they do not send children there. Marineland's website says the park offers resources based on the Ontario curriculum, but some Ontario teachers are encouraging pupils to investigate the park's controversies instead of visiting it. Former Marineland trainer Phil Demers said the park does not prioritise education or conservation, while teachers have said the "attraction" does not teach children about animal habitats or their natural instincts.
