UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak will support Ukraine in its "fight for survival" during his visits to the Council of Europe and G7 summit in Japan. Sunak will attend the Reykjavik summit before travelling to Tokyo, where he is expected to announce new UK-Japan defence and technology collaboration. He will then head to Hiroshima for the G7 summit, the first visit by a British prime minister to the city. Sunak will use the summit to "shore up support for Ukraine" and "galvanise" international action on "economic coercion by hostile states".
