The first Scots College kid who tried to shame me turned out to be gay himself

Scots College, a Presbyterian boys school in Sydney, is in the spotlight over its policy on LGBT students. The college, which is controlled by the Presbyterian Church, has been criticised for accepting funding from an Australian government anti-discrimination programme, despite campaigning to breach such anti-discrimination laws by being allowed to block gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender pupils from taking on leadership roles in school. An Anglican-run girls' school, SCEGGS, has publically criticised its Presbyterian counterpart’s policy on gay students, and stood by its own acceptance of LGBT pupils serving as representatives. While Scots College principal, Dr Ian Lambert, has said that the school does not explicitly ban gay students from holding leadership positions, he has not distanced the college from the Presbyterian Church, which has called for the right to discriminate against LGBT pupils.
